This appeal raises several important issues First it examines the conduct of the advocate-on-record who filed the Special Leave Petition SLP that led to this appeal Second it looks into ... the behavior of another advocate who later became a senior advocate Two related concerns also arise one is whether there should be a specific code of conduct for advocates-on-record and the other is whether the Supreme Court's earlier rulings in Indira Jaising v Supreme Court of India Indira Jaising-I and Indira Singh v Supreme Court of India Indira Jaising-II need to be reconsidered Additionally the issue of whether action should be taken against the appellant for making false statements will be dealt with in a separate application for which notice has already been issued
