This special leave appeal has been filed to challenge the order passed by the High Court of Punjab and Haryana at Chandigarh The order imposed significant penalties on the appellant ... and its Director totalling Rs crores to be paid to the Registrar General of the High Court within one month Additionally the National Highways Authority of India NHAI was instructed to take immediate possession of the Highway project The High Court also mandated the commencement and completion of highway repairs and construction within specified timeframes Furthermore an inquiry into various contractual matters including toll collection and highway completion was ordered with the Chairman of the National Highways Authority of India held personally accountable for ensuring the timely completion of the six-lane project In response the appellant-Concessionaire Company has appealed to this Court contesting the aforementioned order
